Plot

In the tumultuous world of Haven Hospital, an unconventional mix of patients transform the men's surgical ward into a hotbed of chaotic antics. The unit is a whirlwind of disorder, creating more bedlam than the rest of the hospital combined. The arrival of the formidable Matron sends icy shivers down the spines of the patients each time she patrols the ward, her frosty demeanor a stark contrast to the warm chaos that usually reigns supreme. Within the ward, an assortment of intriguing characters add to the pandemonium. There's Reckitt, the lone patient who boldly dares to stand against the icy Matron, the persistently bothersome Colonel, and Bell, a man desperate to have his troublesome bunion removed. Amidst the disorder, a tender romance blooms between patient Ted York and the ever-so-clumsy Nurse Denton. In a defiant and slightly tipsy act of rebellion against the frosty Matron, the men concoct a daring plan: they decide to conduct a spot of DIY surgery to remove Bell's bunion themselves! In a hospital where the patients seem to run the show, Carry On Nurse is a hilarious and heartwarming tale of camaraderie, romance, and a dash of amateur medical practice.
