In the serene suburban landscape of Cibuston, Miguel Appet is known for his peculiar infatuation. He is a collector, obsessive about acquiring color variants, rare finds, and original items from the 1950s - not of coins or stamps, but of food. Tucked away in his home, he has transformed his space into an expansive shrine to culinary delights; a secret he guards from everyone except his domineering mother. His neighbors remain blissfully unsuspecting. To his right, the father-son duo, Horace and Eustice, are too engrossed in planning their next hunting adventure, clad in their matching lumberjack plaid. On his left, Kelvin Green, consumed by his quest to find the extraterrestrial he believes once assaulted him, pays Miguel little mind. But Miguel's peculiarity surpasses his unique food collection. His diet is not determined by the typical demands of hunger, but by a darker necessity. For Miguel must consume the unthinkable – human flesh. His carefully curated food collection remains strictly off the menu. This gruesome reality, however, presents a challenge. How does one maintain the life of a cannibal while also preserving a cherished collection of uneaten edibles? The paradox of Miguel's existence unfolds in this chilling tale, revealing that being a cannibal collector is more complicated than it seems.
