Plot

In the opulent setting of a 17th-century leisure castle, Pierre and Héléna are readying themselves to exchange vows. Desiring a first-class celebration, they entrust their wedding plans to Max Angély, a seasoned caterer known for his ability to create unforgettable events. As the rhythm of the night is set to be dictated by a reputed DJ, Pierre, the affluent and demanding groom, insists on perfection. Max, with his unruffled demeanor, assures him of a flawless execution. However, he conveniently omits the fact that his team is a motley crew of eccentric characters with their own set of challenges. The entertainment for the evening is compromised when the top-tier DJ is replaced by Etienne, an entertainer whose skills are questionable. Adèle, Max's fiery assistant, is a whirlwind of chaos, while Guy, the wedding photographer, is a washed-up freeloader. Adding to the mix is Josiane, Max's confidante and lover, teetering on the edge of ending their relationship, and Julien, a melancholic former teacher-turned-waiter, who once courted the bride. The team is rounded out by Samy, a waiter whose incompetence becomes glaringly evident. Max, however, remains unfazed. His mantra, "Always adapt!" resonates through the chaos, as he navigates the hurdles with a relentless determination to save the day. But with a crew as unpredictable as his, will he manage to pull off the wedding of the century? That's the tantalizing question at the heart of C'est la vie!
