Butlers in Love (2022)

Emma Conroy, a woman with a lifelong fascination for the world of butlers, stemming from her childhood obsession with the British TV series, Plumshire Manor, dreams of serving in one of Europe's royal households. Her journey takes her through several attempts at gaining admission into US butler academies, each rejection only fueling her determination to enhance her credentials. Her persistence eventually lands her the last spot in this year's class at the illustrious American Butler Academy in Maryland, under the guidance of Charles Willoughby, a stringent mentor whose rigorous training ensures only two-thirds of the class will graduate. Emma's academic prowess and painstaking dedication, however, seem to falter when it comes to real-world execution, placing her on shaky ground among the bottom third of her class. A stark contrast to her struggles is her classmate, Henry Walker, whose seemingly lackadaisical approach never fails to yield successful results. Despite their constant head-on collisions, Emma discovers the secret to Henry's success lies in his lineage. He is a legacy butler, descending from two centuries of proficient butlers. Yet, Henry yearns for a different path, aspiring to be a chef, much to his father's dismay. Willoughby, noticing the potential in their contrasting strengths, suggests a mutual collaboration, where Emma's meticulousness complements Henry's natural aptitude and vice versa. As they navigate the challenging world of butlerhood together, they may not only find a way to escape the looming threat of failure but also uncover their true desires and the path to achieving them, transforming their rivalry into a journey of self-discovery and growth.
