Plot

Kristoffer, a jovial 24-year-old billboard hanger, sees his life unravel when he's dumped by his girlfriend Elisabeth for her high-profile boss. Dejected and feeling like an outcast, Kristoffer's life takes an unexpected turn when his personal video diaries land in the hands of a producer for the hit talk show "Karsten Tonight." Before he knows it, Kristoffer's candid escapades around his Tøyen commune, his eccentric best friend Geir, and the agoraphobic web designer Stig Inge, become the nation's favorite TV spectacle. As Kristoffer's popularity skyrockets, his life starts to gleam with promise. But fame comes with a harsh price. His friends start grappling with the unintended consequences of their newfound exposure. Geir's clandestine life is laid bare for all to see, while Stig Inge's deeply entrenched issues turn out to be more severe than Kristoffer ever realized. Winning back his friends' trust will cost him dearly. As Kristoffer's star continues to rise in the television industry, he's forced to confront a poignant question: does he have the courage to pursue what truly matters to him?
