Brahmachari (1968)

Abandoned as an infant and oblivious of his true identity, Brahmachari (Shammi Kapoor) finds himself the unlikely patriarch of a vibrant household of twelve orphans and a mischievous dog, nestled in the heart of a house burdened by a towering 200,000 rupee mortgage. His days are filled with the hustle of being a magazine photographer and a musician by night, yet the cloud of financial insecurity looms large. His well-intentioned actions of bringing the children to photoshoots have turned the magazine into an inadvertent children's publication, causing a drop in readership and further straining his already precarious financial situation. In the midst of his struggles, a glimmer of hope appears in the form of Sheetal Chadhabari (Rajshree), a forlorn damsel on the brink of drowning herself in the ocean. Brahmachari saves her, and in return, she weaves her tale of heartbreak - a childhood engagement broken by the affluent, womanizing playboy Ravi Khanna (Pran) who once was her betrothed. Armed with this knowledge, Brahmachari pledges to help Didi win back Ravi's heart by transforming her into an alluring blend of the women who captivate Ravi.
