In the expansive northern wilds of Kenya, married couple George and Joy Adamson embrace their unconventional life. George, as the senior game warden of the region, must grapple with the dangerous animals threatening the delicate balance between man and nature. This duty leads to a tragic necessity - the killing of a man-eating lion and his mate, leaving their three young cubs orphaned. Following an arduous nurturing period, George and Joy manage to raise the three cubs, treating them not as dangerous beasts, but as cherished pets. This daunting challenge involves teaching Elsa to hunt for food, something she's only ever seen as playmates, and to coexist with other lions, including finding a mate and defending her territory.
