Bone Eater (2008)

In the heart of the barren desert, the business-savvy tycoon Dick Krantz is hell-bent on erecting a luxurious resort, blatantly ignoring the dissent of the Katonahs, the local tribe. During the construction, a trio of unsuspecting workers stumbles upon ancient Indian relics and skeletal remains in a concealed trench. Unwittingly, they awaken Bone Eater, a colossal skeleton-like creature, hungry for human bones. Caught amidst the escalating tensions is the biracial Sheriff Steve Evans, also known as Running Wolf, tasked with solving the enigmatic disappearance of the workers. Pressured by Krantz to pin the blame on the protesting Katonahs, Running Wolf finds himself in a deadly race against time as the Bone Eater continues its rampage, claiming more victims. Meanwhile, Chief Storm Cloud, a wise tribal elder, embarks on a desperate quest to unearth a mythical tomahawk, the only weapon rumored to possess the power to vanquish the menacing Bone Eater. The gritty tale of Bone Eater unfolds as the lines blur between corporate greed, ancient tribal lore, and a monstrous terror that threatens to consume them all.
