In the bustling city of Bombay, Mala, a college student with dreams of gracing the silver screens of Bollywood, stumbles into a journey that transforms her life beyond her wildest dreams. Mala's world turns upside down when her parents, Atmaram and his wife, discover her pictures in a magazine. Distraught and fearing a scandal, they attempt to confine her ambitions within societal norms, arranging her marriage with Ramlal's son.
