Seven elderly Britons respond to a travel ad to go to Jaipur, India. They find a run-down hotel with a young, enthusiastic host. Evelyn wants a low-cost trip, since she has recently been widowed. Graham wants to find love. Douglas and Jean have lost their pension, Muriel needs hip surgery that is cheap, Madge wants to marry rich and Norman wants all of the women. India offers something for all of them, and they grow along the way. Their host has dreams, but not much skill or money, and has relationship problems of his own. How will this group bond?
