Plot

In the heart of Copenhagen, we meet Leo, a man struggling under the weight of his mundane existence. His life, a tedious blend of a thankless job and a cramped apartment, is thrown into even greater turmoil when he learns of his wife Louise's pregnancy. Leo, increasingly repelled by his domestic life, finds respite in the shadowy corners of the city's nightlife, where he crosses paths with Louis, a racist bouncer with a violent streak. As Leo's frustration escalates, he is unwittingly drawn into the dark underbelly of the city, where he witnesses a brutal beating and shooting. Initially, the violence serves as a chilling reminder of the world he's stepped into, but over time, it begins to cast a seductive spell, offering a twisted escape from his claustrophobic existence. Meanwhile, Louise, left to weather her pregnancy in solitude, watches helplessly as the man she loves retreats further into his own world. Leo's transformation from a disgruntled husband to a cold and distant figure casts a shadow over their life together. His simmering anger and self-loathing inevitably boil over, leading him down a path of violence that threatens to consume not just him, but also the ones he holds dear. "Bleeder" is a gripping exploration of a man's descent into darkness as he grapples with the harrowing realities of his life, a journey that takes us deep into the heart of human frustration and despair.
