Bleak Street (2015)

In the hushed pre-dawn hours, two aging prostitutes retreat to their squalid homes, not weary from their night's labor, but from the absence of it. One grapples with domestic turmoil, wrestling with her rebellious teenage daughter and a husband lost in his own world of cross-dressing. The other battles a relentless foe - solitude. However, this particular night holds a promise of change. They have a rendezvous to commemorate the triumphant ring victory of two unusual wrestlers - identical miniature twins concealed behind masks. At a transient hotel, their sinister plan unfolds to swindle the diminutive champions of their hard-won spoils. A concoction of eye drops seems harmless enough, but the dosage is lethal. Their scheme spirals out of control, turning them into unintentional murderers. Confronted with the stark reality of their actions, they choose flight over surrender. Together, they plunge into the shadows, evading the law, and seeking refuge in the only place they've ever known - the desolate corners of Bleak Street.
