Bikini Summer (1991)

In the sun-soaked spectacle that is "Bikini Summer," we find ourselves in the vibrant company of Chet, a passionate photographer on a relentless quest for his "Miss Right." His lens finds a captivating subject in Shelly Michelle, a vivacious woman who happens to lead an all-female band, currently caught in the frustrating throes of unemployment. As fate would have it, Shelly, Chet, and Shelly's audacious friend Mad Dog find themselves as unlikely roommates in a beach house. Mad Dog, always the schemer, concocts a plan designed to not only help Shelly's band but also cause a sensation that would shake the entire beach community - a bikini contest. As the beach house becomes the epicenter of their riotous plan, the trio finds themselves in for a summer that promises to be unforgettable. Simultaneously, a disparate group of friends have been commissioned to refurbish the same beach house while the elderly owners are away for the summer. Little do they know, the task of redecorating will soon be lost in the tidal wave of bikini-clad chaos about to ensue. This motley crew consists of an imposter-photographer, a creative bikini designer, a squad of metal-band girls, and the token environmentalist who are all unwittingly roped into Mad Dog's uproarious scheme. As the bikini contest begins to draw attention from every corner of the town, it also attracts the unwelcome scrutiny of the local D.A. and her devoted policemen. As the summer heats up, so does the tension, setting the stage for a bikini-filled summer that none of them will ever forget. "Bikini Summer" is a rollercoaster ride of laughter, drama, and an unexpected camaraderie that develops amidst the backdrop of sun, sand, and an unforgettable contest.
