In the heart of Los Angeles, a silent morgue becomes the unexpected origin of a colossal calamity. Once again, a botched military experiment births a monstrosity, this time in the form of an alien arachnid. No longer an insignificant speck, the spider, fueled by its mutations, swells to mammoth proportions, casting a dark shadow over the city. As the monstrous menace continues to grow, the city's survival hangs in the balance. The U.S. Army, in their desperate efforts, launches a military strike, only to see it fail against the behemoth's tenacity. With the city on the brink of devastation, it falls upon an unlikely hero to save the day - Alex Mathis, a neighborhood exterminator and bug expert.
