In the quaint town of Hughes, Oregon, Molly Machardy has carved out a niche for herself as a skilled wedding photographer, despite her preference for capturing raw emotions in candid black and white portraiture. When her younger sister Sophia gets engaged to their childhood friend and local blueberry farmer, Jordan Cronin, Molly's life takes an unexpected detour. Thrust into the role of maid of honor, she finds herself not only tackling her biggest assignment yet, but also wrestling with old feelings when Jordan's elder brother, Cory, her former boyfriend, returns to town as the best man. Haunted by a promise she made to their late mother, Molly is determined to give Sophia the wedding of her dreams, even at the risk of sidelining her own. Her well-intentioned meddling leads her to submit an application on the couple's behalf to an annual contest held by the glamorous wedding planner to the stars, Terrence Roquefort. As the duo navigates the glitz and glamour of Beverly Hills, they find old wounds healing and their past romance rekindling.
