Plot

Nestled in the heart of Paris, the renowned Louvre museum becomes the resting place for a collection of artifacts unearthed from an Egyptian dig. As experts employ a cutting-edge laser scanning device to ascertain the age of a mysterious sarcophagus, a spectral entity breaks free, infiltrating the museum's complex electrical system. The museum's curator, Faussier, calls upon the expertise of the distinguished Egyptologist, Glenda Spencer. Her chilling revelation? The sarcophagus housed the malevolent spirit of Belphegor. Across the street from the museum, Lisa, a young resident, chases after her runaway cat, leading her to the museum after hours. An unexpected jolt of electricity sends the wandering spirit hurtling into Lisa. Soon, she finds herself masquerading as Belphegor, driven by an inexplicable desire to claim the museum's rare Egyptian treasures as her own. Night falls, and the museum transforms into a battleground. The phantom Belphegor wreaks electrical havoc, and the museum's guards start succumbing to strange fatalities. All the museum's security measures prove futile against the cunning and power of Belphegor. To unravel this perplexing mystery, the seasoned detective Verlac is coaxed out of retirement. His mission? To solve the enigma of the Louvre's steadily diminishing Egyptian collection, and to save Lisa from the phantom's eerie possession. In the midst of this chaos, Martin emerges, a man determined to rescue the entrancing Lisa from her spectral affliction. As the Louvre becomes the epicenter of a supernatural storm, the lines between the living and the dead blur, and a thrilling race against time ensues. Will Belphegor be stopped, or will the Louvre lose its treasures—and Lisa—forever?
