Plot
When Oliver's mother passes away, he expects his father, Hal, to live out the rest of his days as a grieving widower. Much to his surprise, Hal takes his newfound freedom as an opportunity to finally come out of the closet. Instead of sitting quietly at home, Hal is suddenly going to clubs and introducing Oliver to his younger boyfriend, Andy.
As Oliver grapples with this new information, he finds a love interest of his own in Anna, a French actress. Anna helps Oliver work through his issues while Hal faces his own final battle with stage 4 cancer.
