The Newton clan, known for their adventurous exploits in the first two Beethoven films, have set out for a European vacation, leaving a family reunion in the capable paws of their most audacious member - Beethoven, their colossal canine. Entrusted to George Newton's brother Richard, the colossal St. Bernard embarks on a journey across the country. With Richard's grumbling wife and their two high-spirited children in tow, the family navigates the winding roads to California in a grand, glistening RV, armed with a DVD player for entertainment. However, the ride isn't as smooth as expected. Hot on their tail are a pair of clumsy crooks, who have clandestinely stashed top-secret codes on a DVD. In a twist of fate, Richard, oblivious to the DVD's true value, purchases it. Now, the unsuspecting family holds a ticking time bomb of information, and the hapless villains are in hot pursuit to retrieve it. As the road trip unfolds, Beethoven, with his trademark mischief and heart, is in for an adventure like never before.
