Plot
In the heart of Baton Rouge, a city symbolizing dreams and better futures, Antonio harbors an unfaltering devotion for his mute brother. Making a living as a gigolo, Antonio finds himself in the lavish home of Isabel, a wealthy woman estranged from her husband. Tormented by chilling nightmares of assault in her sanctuary, Isabel is prompted by Antonio to seek psychiatric help. This leads them to the young and intelligent Dr. Ana.
During an examination, Ana stumbles upon Antonio slyly pocketing a blank cheque signed by Isabel. Intrigued yet repulsed, Ana coerces Antonio into a convoluted plot to extort money from Isabel, framing it as if she has committed murder in her sleep.
The plan unfolds seamlessly, until Antonio is confronted with the corpse. The dead man is not whom he imagined as Isabel's husband. Suddenly, Antonio finds himself ensnared in a deadly game of deception and betrayal. As he grapples with the shocking revelation, one question looms over him: In this sinister web of intrigue, who is manipulating whom?
