Arkham Asylum is home to some of Gotham City's most vicious and psychotic of villains, and that makes it one of the most secure facilities on Earth. But secret spy director Amanda Waller needs information from one of its inmates — a man who goes by the name of the Riddler. Since she doesn't have the clearance to do so publicly, she recruits a team of some of the most gifted criminals to break in and extract the information she needs. But at the same time, Batman is dealing with a threat by the Joker to blow up all of Arkham.
