Bastu Shaap (2016) is a stirring tale of love and longing, set against the mystical backdrop of Feng Shui and Vastu principles. It follows the interconnected lives of five individuals residing under the same roof in the scenic town of Darjeeling. The inhabitants include the enigmatic Kushal (Parambrata) and Timir (kaushik), who share not just a profession in Vastu consultancy but a bond akin to brotherhood. Their client is Arjum (Abir), an ex-army officer grappling with the loss of his leg and the sorrows that pervade his household.
In the same tragic accident that took Arjum's leg, his sister Antara was dealt a double blow: the loss of her husband and son. Now, she yearns to fill the maternal void by caring for Arjum's son Bonya, causing friction within the family. Simultaneously, an ember of a past romance flickers to life as Kushal and Bonya cross paths, adding another complex layer to the story.
