In the tranquil city of Dehradun, Shardul Thakur serves diligently as a police officer, his life echoing within the confines of a women's police station. Meanwhile, Suman, affectionately known as Sumi, shapes young minds as a PE teacher in a local school. Both are buckling under their families' relentless pressure to marry, yet both harbour secrets that make them reluctant to comply. Sumi, who harbors a clandestine affection for women, takes a leap of faith and explores her desires on a dating app. However, her foray into online dating backfires when she discovers her female match is actually a deceptive man intending to blackmail her. Desperate, she turns to Shardul for assistance. In Shardul, Sumi finds an unexpected ally—a man who, like her, conceals his own truth of loving the same sex. Shardul’s revelation and their shared plight birth a radical idea—to marry each other, appease their families, while continuing to live their individual lives. Their unique plan unfurls seemingly without a hitch. Shardul finds solace in the arms of his boyfriend Kabir, while Sumi's heart beats for Rimjhim. However, complications arise as their well-intended families press them to bear children, threatening to unravel the fragile fabric of their unconventional arrangement. In the face of such adversity, Shardul and Sumi are compelled to navigate the complex intersections of love, duty, and societal expectations.
