Plot

In the pulsating heart of Hong Kong, a chilling crime wave sweeps across the city, leaving behind a terrifying signature - the Smiling Murder. Three baffling cases in just three days rattle the metropolis, thrusting the daring detective duo, Wang Bu'er and Huang Feihong, into a labyrinth of danger and intrigue. Wang, a young maverick cop teetering between recklessness and valor, and Huang, a battle-hardened veteran weary of his partner's audacious antics, find themselves chasing shadows in their pursuit of justice. As they plunge deeper into the investigation, a sinister pattern emerges - all victims are ex-lovers of the rising starlet, Liu. Caught in a deadly predicament, the detectives are forced to raise the stakes. One of them must play the perilous role of Liu's lover, ensnaring themselves in a deadly trap to draw out the elusive killer. Starring martial arts powerhouses Jet Li, Collin Chou, and Wu Jing, "Badges of Fury" is a high-octane thriller that intertwines electrifying action with suspenseful storytelling. As they navigate this deadly game under the watchful eye of producer Po Chu Chui, known for his work on Kung Fu Hustle and Crouching Tiger, the trio's stellar screen fighting skills are put to the ultimate test. Brace yourself for a whirlwind of martial arts mayhem, nail-biting suspense, and spine-tingling horror as the detectives go undercover in a world where love becomes a lethal weapon.
