In a grim vision of the not-so-distant future, the quaint charm of an unnamed Central European town, filmed in the heart of Poland, has been replaced by chaos and grime. Innocence has been lost in the labyrinth of technology as computer games evolve into addictive, high-stake battles. One such game is Avalon, an illegal and potentially fatal battle simulation that has ensnared the young populace in its deadly allure. Ash, a solitary figure in this dystopian landscape, shares her existence only with her loyal dog. Her world is consumed by the adrenaline-rush of Avalon, where she has earned the reputation of a top-tier super warrior. Her life outside the game is a monotonous loop of feeding her dog and diving back into the virtual battleground. Her proficiency in Avalon has opened up to her a top-level, a place where the game's intensity amplifies, and the line between the virtual and the real blurs dangerously. The only way out of this level is to emerge victorious; failure could mean death. When whispers of an even more advanced level of Avalon reach Ash, she abandons her reclusive lifestyle. Ignoring the warnings of the potentially fatal consequences, she joins a band of fellow explorers, united by their shared obsession. The lure of the unknown pushes her further into the game's deadly embrace, leading her on a thrilling quest for the elusive gateway to this new level. However, the deeper Ash plunges into Avalon, the more she risks losing her tether to reality. Will she find her way back, or will she become another lost soul in the virtual abyss of Avalon?
