In the turbulent underworld of 1972, the Mafia crime families are engaged in a brutal war. Amid this chaos emerges a young, ambitious John Gotti, an unknown figure with grand dreams and audacious plans. To end the two-decade-long feud, Gotti assembles an eclectic crew, each member representing a warring crime family. Their mission? A daring silver bullion heist that, if successful, will etch Gotti's name in the annals of Mafia history. This motley crew of gangsters, hijackers and hopefuls, all in their late twenties, frequent a gambling haven known as the "Sinatra Club." Owned by the eccentric Salvatore Polisi, who also narrates our tale, the club serves as their sanctuary in a world where no one is safe. The Mafia bosses are oblivious to John and his crew, who are yet to make their mark. Driven by his thirst for recognition, Gotti orchestrates a scheme that could either resolve the feud among the five families or lead to their collective downfall. His mentor, Charlie Fatico, a formidable captain in the Gambino crime family, needs to gain approval from the big boss, Carlo Gambino. Once the old man gives his blessing, the wheels are set in motion for a heist of monumental proportions. The plan seems straightforward: use a representative from each family, hijack an armored truck brimming with silver bullion, and distribute the spoils among the bosses. In theory, it's a perfect plan. By the end, every Mafia boss would not only know who John Gotti is but will also owe him a debt of gratitude for ending the bloodshed and filling their pockets. The path to becoming a "somebody" in the Mafia world seems clear. However, the plan is riddled with more complications than the bullet-ridden mobsters of the town. As time runs out, the crew discovers numerous flaws in their plan, turning their heist into a high-stakes game of life and death. With the bosses of all five families eagerly awaiting their share, the crew is thrust from the poker table onto the streets, where their lives hang in the balance!
