In the twilight years of his life, between 1888 and 1890, the celebrated Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh finds himself driven into the heart of southern France, particularly Arles and Auvers-Sur-Oise. This self-imposed exile forms a backdrop of vibrant colors and shifting landscapes, a stage where Van Gogh's distinctive style of painting takes root and thrives. The artist's fervor for his work and what it symbolizes for him becomes his primary focus, overshadowing the allure of financial success, a luxury he never experiences despite the profound output of his creative genius.
