Bumbling Gaulish warriors Asterix and Obelix have a new mission thanks to the pratfalls of the druid Panoramix. When he breaks his foot, he decides that it's time he found a successor he can pass the formula of a magic formula to. The magic potion is essential to the community's well-being, but not just anyone can properly handle it. The two warriors will have to venture out far and wide in search of a druid talented enough for the task, but they'll also have to deal with the avaricious ambitions of Julius Caesar who's returned again to try to seize their village.
