In the heart of Los Angeles, an unexpected alliance forms as street gangs unite, declaring a fierce war against the police. Amidst the chaos, a tragic incident unfolds in a quiet suburb when a young girl, innocently seeking a vanilla ice-cream from a truck, falls victim to the cold-blooded brutality of a gang member. Overcome by grief and rage, her father exacts revenge, plunging himself into a desperate chase that leads him to the doorstep of Precinct 13. Precinct 13 is a police station on the brink of obsolescence, held in the stewardship of a lone policeman, Bishop. This near-abandoned precinct is slated to close its doors the following morning. Bishop is not entirely alone, however; two women, the telephone operator and Leigh, also inhabit this fading monument of law and order. Their quiet existence is disrupted when a bus carrying three prisoners makes an unexpected stop at the precinct, seeking temporary shelter while one of the prisoners receives urgent medical attention. But as the sun sets, the night brings with it a storm of violence. The precinct finds itself under a relentless siege, a vengeful onslaught from the unified gangs. The staff of the closing precinct, along with the prisoners they once sought to contain, now find themselves in a grim predicament. Caught in the crossfire of this brutal assault, they must set aside their differences and band together to withstand the ferocious onslaught of the attacking gang members. Their fight for survival makes for a tense, unrelenting drama in the urban jungle of Los Angeles.
