An Eye for an Eye (1966)

In the lawless landscapes of the Wild West, Talion, a retired bounty hunter, is haunted by a past filled with relentless enemies. His tranquil life on his secluded farm is brutally disrupted when he becomes the victim of a merciless attack. Three infamous outlaws, led by the notorious Ike Slant and his accomplices, the Beetson brothers, enact a deadly revenge on Talion's homestead. They leave behind a path of destruction, burning his farm to the ground and taking the lives of his beloved wife and son. Returning to find his world in ashes and his family cruelly slain, the hardened Talion embarks on a relentless pursuit of vengeance against those who wronged him. His quest for retribution leads him to cross paths with Benny Wallace, a youthful bounty hunter with his own scores to settle with the Slant gang. A unique bond of shared animosity is formed as they unite their efforts in the pursuit of justice. Their journey leads them to a bustling trading post, overseen by the enigmatic Quince family. As the duo takes refuge there, Talion unexpectedly finds himself drawn to the charm of Quince's daughter, Bri, finding a glimmer of warmth in the bleakness of his reality. As dawn breaks, they locate the Beetson brothers' hideout, their leader, Ike Slant, still absent. With a shared thirst for justice, Talion and Benny Wallace plot a deadly ambush, setting the stage for a climactic showdown. As the sun sets and Ike Slant finally emerges, an explosive confrontation unfolds, blurring the lines between vengeance and survival.
