An Empress and the Warriors (2008)

In a world where warfare is the norm, the kingdom of Yan stands as one of the ten warring factions. The death of Yan's emperor in a battle, tainted by a general's betrayal, leaves the throne's succession hanging precariously in the balance. The contenders: the emperor’s daughter Feier, destined to be the kingdom's inaugural empress; Xuehu, a valiant warrior of humble birth but noble spirit; and Hu Ba, the scheming traitor with an insatiable lust for power. Beneath Xuehu's protective wing, Feier learns the art of leadership and the way of the warrior queen. Yet, shadows of treachery lurk close, as Hu's minions plot her downfall — first through an abduction, followed by a coup. However, fate intervenes in the form of Duan Lanquan, an enigmatic hermit with a mysterious past. Duan rescues Feier from the kidnapping, tending to her wounds and introducing her to a vision of a kingdom unlike any other — one where peace reigns over war. Now, Feier must decide whether this dream can intertwine with her own. Will she choose the path of blood and war, or can she transform her kingdom's violent nature and embrace a future of harmony? The destiny of Yan rests in her hands.
