Plot

In the heart of France, far from his native Senegal, Amin finds himself caught in an existence defined by solitude and hard labor. Nine years ago, he made the difficult decision to leave his beloved wife, Aisha, and their three children behind, trading the warmth of family for the icy chill of a foreign land. His life in France unfolds within the narrow confines of his simple living quarters and the bustling building sites where he earns his keep, his only companions being the fellow workers who share his humble abode. Amin's life, however, takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with the elegant Gabrielle, a middle-aged nurse who hires him to help renovate her house. This meeting sparks a relationship that promises to weave a splash of color into Amin's monochrome world. Yet, with most of his earnings destined for his family back in Senegal, Amin finds himself treading an intricate line between his duty and desire. Amin's story is a poignant exploration of the immigrant experience, capturing the struggle of balancing personal dreams against the heavy weight of responsibility. This heartfelt narrative promises to immerse viewers in a tale that resonates deeply with the universal human experience, transcending borders and cultures.
