Plot

In the perilous world of aerial firefighting, Pete Sandich is a daredevil pilot who defies death, swooping low over raging forest fires to douse them with water. Fearless and free-spirited, Pete thrives on the adrenaline, his skill and audacity always seeing him through. This bravery is shared by Dorinda, his intended, a fellow pilot who also serves as a guiding voice on the radio for those braving the infernos from the sky. Their love is as fierce and consuming as the fires they battle, but Pete's relentless pursuit of danger strains their bond. Pete is confident, unyielding, and unwavering in his commitment to his perilous profession, even as Dorinda yearns for a safer existence. However, when Pete's daring finally catches up with him in a fatal flight, Dorinda is left adrift in a sea of sorrow, struggling to piece her life back together. Unexpectedly, Pete returns, not as a man but as an unseen spirit. His presence, a faint echo of his former self, is tasked with guiding his successor. As this spectral mentor, Pete must navigate the strange world of the afterlife, learning to influence without being seen or felt. Yet, the greatest challenge arises when his successor starts to fall for the heartbroken Dorinda. Bound by love and duty, Pete must navigate this complex triangle, guiding his replacement while watching the woman he loves find solace in another's arms. 'Always' is a captivating tale of love and sacrifice, courage and redemption, soaring high above the flames of passion and tragedy. It's a testament to the eternal bonds that persist even when life's fires have been extinguished.
