Almost Love (2019)

In the grand theater of relationships, where every connection is a complex dance, Adam and Marklin are on the precipice of discovering if love has a sell-by date. Their half-decade romance, once an inferno of passion, has mellowed to a steady glow, compelling them to confront each other's flaws, even as their social scaffolding begins to disintegrate around them. Their best friend Cammy, seemingly in a fairytale romance, is enchanted by a man who ticks every box, save for the inconvenient truth that he calls a box his home. Haley, ensnared by an academic conundrum, finds her pupil more engrossed in studying her than preparing for the SATs. Meanwhile, Elizabeth and Damon, the seemingly unshakeable pair, teeter on the edge of marital dissolution after fifteen years of supposed domestic utopia. Amidst the chaos, hope blossoms, as they all comically fumble their way through the maze of life, each seeking their own version of harmony.
