Haunted by the ghosts of her abusive past and the wreckage of numerous intimate failures, Laura is a woman caught in a relentless search for love and a semblance of normalcy. In the midst of this emotional tempest, she finds an unexpected ray of hope in Eva, a sixteen-year-old piano prodigy, stifled by the life her mother has meticulously crafted for her. A peculiar bond blossoms between Laura and Eva, with the young pianist gradually transforming into Laura's obsession.
