Plot

In the heartwarming yet poignant tale of All Mine to Give, we journey alongside the Eunson family, who have embarked on a quest to forge a new life in America, leaving their Scottish roots behind. Jo and Robert Eunson, along with their six children, find solace and acceptance in Eureka, their new home. Their industrious spirit, mirrored in Robert's thriving boat building business, allows them to quickly integrate into the fabric of their new community. However, the idyllic life they have been building shatters when diphtheria infiltrates their happy home, infecting one of their sons. The boy survives, but the disease ruthlessly claims Robert, leaving Jo to shoulder the heavy mantle of parenthood alone. Despite her relentless determination and resilience, working tirelessly as a seamstress to keep her family afloat, Jo is felled by typhoid. On her deathbed, Jo entrusts their eldest, 12-year-old Robbie, with the heartrending task of finding new homes for his siblings. Faced with a responsibility that would daunt even the strongest adults, the brave young lad takes on the mission with an admirable blend of courage and maturity. On a fateful Christmas day, he embarks on his quest, determined to fulfill his mother's last wish. All Mine to Give is a tribute to the resilience of the human spirit, a story woven with threads of hope, love, loss, and the indomitable strength of family bonds. This deeply moving narrative, rooted in fact, unfolds in the backdrop of 1850's Wisconsin, offering a captivating glimpse into the struggles and triumphs of the Eunson family.
