All at Once (2016)

In the heart of New York City, a blossoming artist sees his aspirations and existence irrevocably transformed when the calamity of 9/11 claims the lives of his two dearest friends. Unexpectedly, he becomes the guardian of their two young daughters. Eleven years on, he juggles his role as a father-figure with teaching art at a local elementary school, nurturing the girls as if they were his own flesh and blood. However, the relentless financial strain of city living starts to weigh him down. In a bid for a fresh start, he makes the difficult decision to uproot the girls from the only home they've ever known, and return to his roots in Buffalo. Now, this unconventional family unit finds itself on a new path, faced with unfamiliar surroundings and an unforeseen journey. They must navigate this new existence, discovering themselves and learning to adapt in the process.
