Alice or the Last Escapade (1977)

One stormy evening, Alice Carol departs from her husband's life, confessing her love for him has vanished. Embarking on a solo journey, her adventure takes an eerie turn when a shattered windscreen on a desolate road forces her to seek aid. Drawn to a chilling manor, she encounters the enigmatic Henri Vergennes and his dutiful butler, Colas. Their offer of refuge for the night seems like the perfect solution to her predicament. As a new day dawns, both Vergennes and Colas have vanished, yet Alice discovers her car mysteriously repaired. An attempt to bid the manor farewell is thwarted as the exit gate eludes her. Alone and increasingly alarmed, she ventures on foot along the manor's walls, seeking escape, only to stumble upon unsettling discoveries. Alice's intended departure becomes a desperate quest for freedom in this intricate labyrinth of the unknown.
