Plot

In the idyllic landscape of Mahabaleshwar, the seemingly isolated widower Hemant Rastogi meets an untimely end due to a heart attack. Upon investigating his residence, the police uncover a shocking secret - a young man named Tejas, Hemant's only son, hidden away in the basement, his eyes unnaturally sensitive to light, and his existence a complete mystery to the world. Raised in the shadows, Tejas' understanding of life is formed by the books his father provided, leading to an extraordinary faculty of mind over matter. His remarkable powers, however, make him a misfit in the P.R. Institute, a rehabilitation center for wayward youths run by Purva Rana. A series of unfortunate incidents, including the near-death of a security guard and the demise of a fellow student, serve to further isolate Tejas. However, a glimmer of acceptance emerges when Tejas uses his unique abilities to rouse Purva's comatose mother, Gayetri Rana, from her unconscious state. His triumph is short-lived, as his extraordinary abilities draw the unscrupulous attention of the medical community. When Tejas and his newfound ally, Pushkar, resist participation in exploitative experiments, the sinister Dr. Richard Dyer abducts Tejas, imprisoning him in a glass chamber. His aim is nothing less than harnessing Tejas' mind-bending powers for his own nefarious ends. Caught in a battle for his freedom and identity, Tejas must confront the looming question: Will he succumb to the machinations of Dr. Dyer, or can he marshal his powers to escape the doctor's clutches and reclaim control of his life? The story of Alag is a thrilling exploration of the human spirit's resilience and the extraordinary power of the mind when faced with adversity.
