As spring break dawns, Crystal and her college companions find themselves embarking on a thrilling adventure to the sandy expanse of Diamond Mountain. Their plan? To indulge in the adrenaline rush of motocross biking and join fellow students in a vibrant party. But as they journey, an unforeseen hurdle in the form of a car breakdown forces them off the trodden path, leaving them stranded on a desolate road. Under the weight of their predicament, they are joined by an enigmatic stranger, Hector. His sudden appearance stirs a whirlwind of fear and suspicion, but with time, he earns their wary trust. Despite combined efforts, the broken truck steadfastly refuses to cooperate. Jake, a member of the group, bravely ventures back to civilization in search of aid, leaving the rest amidst the uncertainty. As the cloak of night descends, an uneasy calm settles around the campfire, punctuated by the shared stories and hushed laughter. Amy and Chase, seeking a moment of privacy, wander into the dark, while Hector disappears on a solitary walk. But as the hourglass drains, worry begins to gnaw at the group - their friends are yet to return. In a chilling twist, their spring break turns into a haunting nocturnal quest. Stranded in the company of the still somewhat intimidating Hector, and with friends mysteriously disappearing, the remaining students are forced to brave the vast, open desert in a desperate search for help. As they plunge deeper into the night, they must confront an unnerving reality - they are either hunters seeking their lost friends, or becoming the hunted, prey to an unseen predator lurking in the shadows after dark.
