Adventures of Rusty (1945)

Set against the backdrop of World War II, in the quaint town of Hillside, life for young Danny Mitchell spirals into a whirlwind of emotional turmoil. First, the death of his beloved dog, Skipper, leaves him heartbroken, and then the unexpected marriage of his widowed father, Hugh Mitchell, to the kind-hearted Ann, stirs up a storm of jealousy and resentment in his heart.
