Plot

In the aftermath of a heartrending breakup, Beth, a gifted teacher and aspiring children’s book author, embarks on a journey of self-renewal, relocating closer to her work. Her new life takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with Adam, her peculiar yet intriguing neighbor. An electrical engineer by profession, Adam is a beautiful enigma—mildly autistic, grappling with his father's recent death, and navigating the complexities of the world with a captivating innocence. Adam's social challenges make him oblivious to the nuances of irony and sarcasm, and he struggles with empathy and commonplace social situations. Despite these quirks, or perhaps because of them, Beth is drawn into Adam's distinctive world, and a bond forms between them. She views their connection through the lens of a charming allegory; she is the Little Prince and Adam, the Fox. Simultaneously, Beth's family finds itself in the throes of a crisis. Her father, a charismatic accountant known for his effusive nature, is facing impending legal trouble. As his trial looms on the horizon, it intertwines with Adam's quest for employment, creating a web of events that profoundly affect the blossoming relationship between Beth and Adam. As their connection evolves into a complex relationship, Beth and Adam are thrust into uncharted territory, pushing the boundaries of their comfort zones. It's a delicate dance that underscores a universal truth: to genuinely connect with another soul necessitates a brave leap into the unknown, a leap that can lead to a liberating metamorphosis. The future of their relationship hangs in the balance as they are forced to make decisions that will test their resolve and reshape their lives.
