Achamindri (2016)

In the chilling opening of Achamindri, a devoted education official (Thalaivasal Vijay) meets an untimely end in a violent bomb explosion. Our attention then pivots to the quick-fingered Sakthi (Vijay Vasanth), a streetwise pickpocket entranced by the charms of Malarvizhi (Srushti Dange), a girl of humble means. Meanwhile, we cross paths with Sathya (Samuthirakani), an unyielding officer of the law set to wed his long-time love, Shruti (Vidya Pradeep). Fate, however, has a cruel sense of humor, flipping their lives upside down on a fateful day. Sakthi finds himself the target of ruthless thugs when he unwittingly pilfers the wallet of a feared mobster.
