Gru's past as a supervillain is over, or so it seems. Unfortunately, when he fails to capture a bad guy, he's fired from the Anti-Villain League. Almost simultaneously, Gru has a mysterious encounter with a stranger who tells him he has a long lost brother. Not only does Gru believe this person, but he's intrigued when he finds out his sibling desires to be a supervillain.
