Aarya (2007)

In the heart of Chennai Medical College, a storm is brewing. Deepika (Bhavana), a wealthy and arrogant student, rules the campus with an iron fist. Her authority is unquestioned, her influence extending even to the college's Dean. As the sister of local don, Kasi (Prakash Raj), her reign is amplified by a potent concoction of fear and respect. The tranquillity is disrupted as Aarya (Madhavan), a final year student from Coimbatore, steps onto the scene. Gentle in nature, Aarya's path inevitably collides with Deepika's, instigating a frigid tension between the two. However, the rivalry takes a dark turn when in a fit of fury, Deepika kidnaps Aarya's sister. Unfazed, Aarya faces the challenges head-on, sparking a shift in Deepika's icy demeanor.
