In the tranquil heart of New Zealand, Sophie Dale, a charming yarn shop proprietor, faces a cataclysmic upheaval as King Farms, her primary source of yarn, ceases production. To her astonishment, the alluring yet obstinate Samuel King, who has voyaged from the bustling city of New York to evaluate the farm's business structure, enters her life. Fueled by a fervor to save her beloved shop, Sophie persuades Samuel to grant her a fortnight to master the art of yarn spinning and accumulate sufficient funds to acquire the mill herself.
With Samuel guiding her, Sophie constructs a unique strategy: a community "knit-off" and auction at the vibrant local makers market. As the two-week deadline looms, Sophie experiences an unexpected twist. She finds herself standing at life's intersection, where the lanes of commerce and romance intersect.
