A Hole in My Heart (2005)

In the dim corners of a rundown flat, Eric, an introspective teenager, seeks solace in his room, where the relentless drone of industrial music serves as his only shield from the disturbing world beyond his door. His father, Rickard, an amateur filmmaker with a penchant for extreme sexual content, has seized control of the living room, transforming it into a makeshift set for his latest project. Rickard's ensemble includes Geko, a mentally unstable confidante, and Tess, an impassive young woman drawn into their lurid world. As the filming unfolds over a series of disorienting days, the trio spirals deeper into their own debauchery, losing touch with reality and becoming numb to the escalating intensity of their actions. The line between eroticism and violence blurs, escalating into a sinister dance of excess that leaves Eric wrestling with his role within this twisted tableau. As the depravity reaches new heights, he is driven to step out from the shadows of his room, setting a course to intervene in their crumbling world.
