In the pulsating heart of Santiago, beneath the dim lights of a late-night nightclub, Orlando, a prosperous textile magnate, finds his gaze entwined with that of Marina, a promising singer and a woman half his age who reigns over his heart. Yet, following a spirited birthday celebration and a night seeped in passion, tragedy strikes as Orlando is abruptly seized by a fatal illness, leaving Marina alone by dawn's break. In the shadowy aftermath of Orlando's premature death, Marina finds herself ensnared in a web of suspicion and doubt: questions arise about her role in Orlando's demise, the unconventional nature of their love, and most painfully, her legitimacy to grieve the man she loved. As a relentless tide of accusations threatens to wash away her dignity, respect, and very identity, one must question - what could Marina have done, so monstrous and unforgivable, to warrant such a cruel fate for a truly fantastic woman?
