In the heartwarming, holiday-themed romance of "A Boyfriend for Christmas," Holly finds herself dreading the festive season. Overwhelmed by her successful brother's picture-perfect family and haunted by heartbreak from her ex-boyfriend Ted, she feels her life lacks luster. The disappointment deepens when Ryan Hughes, a pro bono lawyer whose case she's involved in, fails to show up at a crucial hearing. Holly's heart hardens, unaware that destiny has a surprise in store. Holly's festive cheer is further dampened by her unrewarding job and the absence of a significant other to introduce to her family. She spontaneously decides to bring Doug home for Christmas, spinning an intricate web of tales about their serious relationship, much to her family's delight.
