Set against the tumultuous backdrop of 1930s India, held captive under the iron fist of British rule, "23rd March 1931: Shaheed" weaves a tale of courage, sacrifice, and undying patriotism. The narrative follows the revolutionary journey of four young men - Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Chandrashekhar Azad, and Rajguru - who, fuelled by their fervour for freedom, stand defiant against their oppressors.
When Bhagat's mentor, the esteemed Lala Lajpatrai, falls victim to a brutal assault by British soldiers, a spark of rebellion ignites within Bhagat. Consumed by outrage and a thirst for justice, he retaliates, claiming the life of one culpable soldier. However, fate intervenes, and Bhagat, along with Rajguru, are apprehended and cast into the abyss of a merciless prison.
In the bleak confines of their cell, they endure relentless torture and hardship, their spirits tested to their breaking points. Despite the grim reality of their imprisonment, their determination for a free India remains unshaken. However, the British government, using all its cunning and resources, is relentless in its pursuit to quell this uprising.
