In a world where the supernatural interweaves with the everyday, Kogarashi Fuyuzora, a high schooler burdened by an uncanny ability to see and become possessed by ghosts since childhood, seeks solace and normality. His pursuit for a peaceful life leads him to an unconventional abode - Yuragi Manor, a former hot springs inn turned affordable boarding house. Its low price is attributed to the lingering spirit of a high school student, a detail that hardly fazes Kogarashi, especially given the alluring company of the female tenants. Relaxing in the hot springs of his new home, Kogarashi encounters an unexpected complication in his ghost-ousting plan. The haunting spirit is a 16-year-old girl, Yuuna, who resides in his very room. Torn between his abilities and his compassion, Kogarashi resolves not to exorcise but to assist the spectral girl. He embarks on a quest to resolve her unfinished business, hoping to guide her to the afterlife before she descends into malevolence and hell. As he settles into life at Yuragi Manor, the seemingly ordinary tenants begin to reveal their own extraordinary supernatural secrets. As a result, Kogarashi realizes that his quest for an ordinary life has taken an intriguing detour into the realm of the extraordinary. His life at Yuragi Manor is set to be an enchanting tapestry of mysteries, friendship, and unexpected adventures.
